Re: [RC] Wide/narrow twist - Zephyr Arabians

I know for me, if I do much riding at a walk, my
knees will hurt. I solve the issue by taking my
feet out of the stirrups and letting my legs hang

I used to do this when I rode in regular treed saddles
(dressage saddles mostly) -- lots of walking would
prompt me to drop the stirrups and ride with my legs
loose. And, now that you mention it, I realize I
haven't had that urge at all since getting my Barefoot
treeless saddle which to me feels just like riding
bareback and my legs hang in, what is for me, a
perfectly balanced and natural position. And, for
what it's worth, there's basically no twist; it is as
wide (or narrow I suppose, but I don't have any of
those kind of horses) as the horse. I've ridden in
other treeless saddles that are wider than the horse
(so I understand those who hate treeless for that
reason), but this particular one feels just like
bareback to me. As someone who has always loved
bareback, it's perfect. :)

Not a plug for the saddle, just an observation. :)
