[RC] Human Destress (was Training Advice--Backing) - Val Nicoson

I couldn't agree more with this latest thread on
relaxing and unwinding around our horses. I love
watching them interact with one another or just plain
watching them and hearing them eat. Very, very
relaxing and de-stressing.

At our first LD ride our tent was next to the horse
pen. When husband and I went in the tent to sleep
he started groaning listening to my horse eat. He
said it sounded like...rip, rip, tear, crunch, crunch,
munch... rip, rip, tear, crunch, crunch, munch. Since
then I have listened and he described it quite well.
I think he finally fell off to sleep. To me...it was
very relaxing listening to her eat, grass and hay.
