Re: [RC] [RC] DIMR and its effect on performance - Maureen A. Fager

I read this article earlier this year while sitting in a Dr.s office, and haven't forgotten it. It is an article on how long distance sail boat racers can deal with sleep deprivation. I immeadatley thought of 100 mile endurance riders, and wondered if something like this could be of benefit to help deal with fatigue and DIMR.

Anyway, I don't know how much this idea would apply to us, but many of us are sleep deprived on l00 milers. Would distance riders benefit from sleep training? Don't know.

It's a long article, but for me at least, quite facinating.
