it's just my humble opinion but i feel the breakout by rider 
weights is just to keep more people happy with placings.  
the horse is used to you and you are out there riding, everyone 
should be in one division, imho.  ...

I said it was a mistake when they increased the number of weight divisions from
three to four, just to give some heavy riders more awards (while competing
against few other riders).  Three divisions was already too many IMO, and four
is just ridiculous.  But efforts to get the BoD to consider reducing the number
of weight divisions have so far gone nowhere, there are some influential
heavyweights on the BoD.
