Gee, Bob, you missed the perfect opportunity to provide genuine 
facts: the actual numbers. Precisely how many horses have died while 
participating in US endurance races over, say, the past 10 


I'll decide for myself what those numbers mean, if you don't mind. 

OK, I'll request some numbers. I'm genuinely curious. What are the
complete competition records of the horses that you listed on your
resume' (the one that set the record on the 100 comes to mind). I'd be
curious to know their ages, the times they ran, how often they ran them
and how many rides they did in their competitive careers. I think we
could learn something from that and we don't have access to that
information on international horses that I know of. It's a bit of a
problem when the names are often changed.
