[RC] Tevis gear - sandy . l . holder


I forgot to mention in my previous post that I used a HRM (Heart Rate Monitor) as well.  The purpose was, particularly in the early stages of the ride, to not let my horse go above 160 bpm (others may have higher parameters but this was mine).  We do go above these parameters in training rides for short periods of time depending on what we're trying to accomplish; however, not at rides.  Metabolically he was is great shape throughout the ride.
