[RC] tack and gear that works for tevis-bighorn saddles - Ed Kilpatrick

i use the bighorn endurance saddle also.  i think jonni is right about seat size and how it relates to leg position.  i dont have any problem getting my feet where i need them with this saddle, and can post all day. as a word of caution, fearing the dreaded "chair seat" can cause some folks to get their feet too far back.  i have seen this a lot. thats a good way to go head over heels because of a sudden stop, spook or turn.  as someone who trains a lot of horses, and rides lots of "green" ones, i would much rather see a rider with their feet a bit forward.  it will keep you from eating dirt!  cowboy ed
