I've been using the Garmin 301.  It fits great in my pommel pack.  This is 
the item #:  P9-STPML-C51  from sportack.com   Here is a direct link to a

I am able to carry my camera and the HRM parts inside of the center pouch, 
and still have room for other stuff.  It works just fine.  The shape of the 
pouch allows the longer HRM piece to fit around the back edge of it 
(inside), leaving most of that part open for other stuff.   There are even 
neat little velcro tabs on each side that you can put the HRM wire thru, so 
that it doesn't come undone and leave you wondering why your horses pulse 
is either half or double what it should be ;).
