[RC] Autowaterer while riding-Tevis - Aaron Turnage

We saw these horses at the vet check at the Wild West
ride with tube running from back at the saddle, up
over the browband and down to the horses mouth. We
thought Huh? I wonder what that is? Well at the
Robinson Flat vetcheck we happend to be standing there
as the rider was leaving for her exit CRI. She
explained it to us:

She rides her horse in a curb bit she had retrofitted
custom for this. On the outside of the bit she had a
metal stud welded on with threads or something. She
slips the hose (like on a camelback) over the threads
and it runs back to a bladder she carries on the
saddle. The bit is hollow inside and has been drilled
with small holes. When she squeezes the bladder, water
runs up the hose and squirts out the holes in the bit
into her horses mouth. The hose will pop off the bit
piece with just some pressure so it looked really easy
to put on and off since hose itself just stayed on the
horse. It was pretty cool! She needs to patent and
mass produce these!
