At some point, "endurance riding" has to happen.
I believe that most folks who ride the (so called) "fun rides," probably ride that distance at home.
Why not, haul your horse, show up to a ridecamp and enter (at least) the twenty-five mile limited distance ride?
Fun rides no more resemble an endurance ride as a twenty-five miler resembles a 100 miler.

At least the twenty-five mile ride resembles a fifty mile endurance ride, to the degree of time constraints, vetting, etc.

At some point, "trail riding" has to morph into "endurance riding"...
...particularly for an Endurance Organization.
