If they are making that kind of money - why do they need sponsorship from the UAE? The OD added a 50 some years back and they now have an LD run on Friday. I don't think anyone will suggest that has made the OD 100 less difficult and challanging or has dimished the pride in the people who stand up to accept the buckle on Sunday morning People have been very positive about the addition of these events. It's gives more a chance to enjoy the trail.
