[RC] Lifting trailer (and now LQ questions) - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

Thank you everybody for your help! I guess I didn't say it was a gooseneck
setup either. At any rate, I got some information from Mike Sofen about
lowering the truck. I called the Chevy service manager, asked the right
questions this time and it looks like the problem can be solved without doing
anything to the trailer. Apparently, there is an aftermarket kit that can be
installed on the truck and doesn't effect the warranty, ride, etc. It's a lot
less expensive too - $150 compared to $400 - 600 to work on the trailer. Plus,
it sounds like raising the trailer is NOT the way to go for safety reasons.
Just glad I didn't run out and dig into the trailer right away.

My next question is about living quarters. I'm going to install some and need
information from others who have done this before. Specifically, running
electrical lines and gas lines, but any and all information is welcome. There
was a link on RC a few months back that had photos of a step-by-step process of
somebody's project, but I can't seem to find it. If anybody has that link, I
would like to see those photos again.

Please e-mail me direct - dfarnsworth at bak dot rr dot com. Thanks again.

Diane
