Re: [RC] Thumps - Barbara McCraryIn answer to Angie's statement, I have! My husband's horse was a "I don't want a drink of water" horse and he would thump when he became dehydrated. The last time he did that, he progressed to a colic and had to be IVed right at the vet check. The horse had not been overridden, as I rode every step of the way with him, but that horse just didn't want to drink. Lud finally sold him for a pleasure horse, and he will live to a ripe old age outside of the endurance world.Barbara ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dabney Finch" <dabneyesq@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, July 19, 2005 11:52 AM Subject: Re: [RC] Thumps Angie wrote: I don't think I've been at a ridewhere a horse that had thumps crashed =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
