[RC] Saddles- English Vs. Western - Vchorsegal

Hi Alice-
I think Western is better because  the tree spreads out the weight of the rider better, I mean, more saddle per square inch of rider.  BUT, I think English is better because it's shape sits behind the shoulder, and seems to be more comfortable for the horse.  I am sold on Hybrids that combine both. Weight of the saddle is to be considered, but a few more pounds of saddle that supports and fits the horse is well worth it. I  have 2 Specialized Saddles, that are amazing, and adjust in a minute or two to fit almost every horse.  Good Luck !

p.s. they come English looking, western looking, or hybrid !
