==========================================

The parasitic wasps/fly predators do work but it is true about
neighoring horse owners. If you compost your horse manure
another thing that works well are the parasitic nematodes (I
get mine from Arbico). One year my compost heap was crawling
(I mean MOVING!!!) with maggots (it was fasinating in a very
gross sort of way). Put those nematodes in and the next day-nothing. They also
get deeper than the fly predators do.

I find that for my flies the Rescue fly traps work best, put
another brand next to the Rescue-didn't catch many. I also
tried the milk just adaptor with Rescue bait, didn't work
either, I don't know if it is because the milk jugs are opaque
and the flies don't see the other flies. Go figure.
