Re: [RC] Saddle fit/Treeless ? - rides2far

I have been reading all the posts regarding saddle fit
and although I don't have this problem (yet, maybe never)
I have considered trying a treeless because so many people
have had great success with them.

Maybe they have, or maybe a lot of people who are happy with their
experiment tend to post about it. If I'm doing something "new" I'm more
likely to point out my good results to the list. I'd say the majority of
successful competitors are out riding and not posting something like,
"It's still working" about their traditional saddles. >g< If I wanted an
idea of what's working, I'd go TO A RIDE and see, not judge by the number
of posts on the subject. If I paid much attention to the posts I'd sell
my Ortho-Flex, think it was a total failure and a thing of the past. Go
to a ride and wow, there's lots of them...on some very successful rider's
horses. Treeless may be great for your horse but I would judge for
myself, not because "so many people have had great success with them".
