[RC] FIREWORKS TERRIFIED - Jerri Larsen

Has anyone had a horse exposed to fireworks that has been so worked up that he has paced his paddock for 5 straight hours and will not even go into his building to eat???? I guess this must have happened last night with the neighbors when I was gone or in bed... I don't know.
This poor horse is so terrified tonight, I finally took him to a paddock down below and brought another horse up to his building.... I wanted to call the vet for a tranquilizer to calm him down, but it was too late, I was thinking that time would calm him and he would be settled by nightfall...but no didn't happen. I am not sure what to do, this is a Paso Fino and happens to be my colicky horse of the herd also. Any advice, please write me...

Thanks so much
Jerri in Montana
