Ok then..... looks like it is simpler than I thought.  You know, us Southerners....we are sometimes a little slow to catch up with the rest of the world. ;-)   So, now all I have to do, is figure out the southern route from I-40 up to Auburn, CA and convince Rose that she CAN carry me up and over Cougar Rock.  :))

WHERE did you hear that??? The only thing different about entering Tevis,
than any other ride, is that the rider must have already completed 150
endurance (not LD) or competitive "open" (not Novice) miles before the entry
is sent in. Now, the RUN has more difficulty to enter, with lotteries for
entries, required volunteer time and such. But every year when the ride
entries open, just send it in with your money.
