[RC] wind puffs in hocks - Nanwolfden

I have a 6 yr. old geld that was just started last fall at 5.  He has been ridden in the hills very slow, walk and little jog for l year.  Last fall I noticed some filling in his hind hocks-like wind puffs.  This spring they seemed bigger so took him to a vet and had ex-rays.  Everything looked fine in there-vet said he could do anything.  Still riding very conservative but more consistent.  Puffs increased-Took him to another vet.  She said the sheath lining of the tendons were probably leaking fluid, really couldn't do endurance but would make a show horse or pleasure horse.  The constant work in the hills was agrevating the situation.  Has anyone had experience with this problem?  If so what was the outcome.  This is a beuatiful big geld. that really deserves every chance but I don't want to hurt him.  Thanks.Nancy at nanwolfden@xxxxxxx
