RE: [RC] fleas and ticks - Laurie Underwood

How do you keep the local fox and raccoon population from eating your chickens?  Ours were put up at night and still the raccoons found a way in.  During the day the poor hens seemed to disappear as well.  We’ve finally given up and have closed the restaurant!

This is true. Unfortunately, I live in an area with neighbors too close for free range chickens. Guineas also are great tick eaters.
