[RC] Update on Jack's Injury - mary

Thanks for asking how Jack is doing.  I saw him again yesterday for his dressing change and his wound is filling in nicely, although he is very ouchy when he puts weight on his leg.  He has a hard time getting out of the stall to go inside for the change.  The stall is a pipe type with solid walls with a pipe on the ground of the door opening that he has to walk over to get out.  It's just a small pipe about 2 inches, but it is really difficult for him.  It breaks my heart to see him have such a hard time moving, although the vets say he is doing good.  Dr. Peter's has a vet working for him, Dr. Gilbert, that does acupuncture and uses a PENS unit.  That has really seemed to get the blood flowing to the area which has helped the healing.  If you aren't squeamish, I have pictures of how he is progressing on my web site  www.oroszfamily.com  look under Jacks injuries.  It is now 21 days that he has been at the vets.  I'm hoping that he can come home next week.
