[RC] great BLM unknown herds - Liz Masters

I am owned by a few BLM mustangs and it would be hard for me to pick one herd. My dependable, tough as nails boy, Hoover, who has helped round up wild burros in the wild, worked the chutes at adoptions, done several LD's, run poles and barrels, ponies all the babies and has waited patiently while 3 little girls climbed on him and hung on his tail is from Area 51 (Nellis Range). My adorable, destructive, trot like a freak (hits 15 mph per GPS), tame the day I brought home boy, Pistol, is from Seven Troughs in the North West corner of Nevada. He'll also lick you to death.

My other boy, The Foxx, who Char Antuzzi trained last fall is from Twin Peaks. Twin Peaks is one of the calvary remount herds. Foxxy is big, stands a tad over 15 hands, basically fearless, gentle as a lamb and was tame about 3 days after I brought him home. The big girl of the group is Leggs. She's from Furnace Creek, a hard herd to get horses from since there are very few born every year and most that come in are quickly adopted. Leggs stands 15.2 at 3 years old and is the absolute sweetest horse I own. I ponied her out on the trail 2 weeks after I adopted her. She's been saddled and we've sat on her back, all without a fuss.
