We (Joel, Joni and myself) have a name for "those vets".   We call them "The Diggy Vets".
 
It seems that they are wanting to see how deep into the meat they can insert their fingers.
 And you are right, we have, and I am sure other do to, have to try and arrange so that we can go to other vets in the vet line.  Not that is happens in the SE a lot, but there are times.
