This is a good tape. And you are right - none of mine will pace excpet 
for maybe a step or two. You can tell this gait is not very comfortable 
for them. They might go on a little on the lateral side going down a 
steep hill. Yep the true pace and ture trot probably don't show up on 
the same horse, however, I've heard that some of the old racing 
standardbreds could do both - but this is not under saddle. To get the 
running walk I need to "bump 'em up a little."  I've also heard that the 
horses that are very pacey also have a difficult time in the canter - 
which makes sense.
