==========================================

Truman always keeps me on the right trail;half of what little I've figured out
about horses grew out of his pointers...Here is the gait leg position/timing
range plotted out in much detail in the Eldon Eadie video: Hard Square Trot/Fox
Trot/Running Walk/Stepping Pace/Hard Square Pace.(This is a very difficult
presentation to follow,but well worth the effort.He does not discuss the rack
except in passing).I am assuming Truman's trotty Walkers never do a hard
pace.Given the genetic considerations involved,it is hard to imagine a horse
naturally performing all the gaits in the continuum,absent an awful lot of
human intervention.
