[RC] [RC] hobbles - April

At LBL this year, I saw 2 mules and a horse picketed to a stake in the
ground. The tethers looked like thick chains covered in rubber. Made
them flexible, but shouldn't hurt the equine (although most horses can
find something to get hurt on) and hard to get wrapped up in. They
didn't attach to the leg, though. Attached to the halter. All 3 did
quite well with this setup. I don't think they were endurance riders.
Just pleasure riders that happened to be there at the same time.
