RE: [RC] [RC] fleece stirrup leather covers - L gin

Since I bruise with english leathers--- I use halfchaps, and meriono covers on my wbbers 9which have to be covered anyway or they rub my leather saddle. I bought car steering wheel covers from Walmart and made my own for 8$-- but I "hear" you can actually buy them- LOL
My daughter and her Hunter friends rountinely ride with shorts and halfchaps in summer. If they are leather(suede) , it's not much different than leather breeches......

My daughter recently started using my English saddle, and the stirrup
leathers are pinching her legs (she's riding in shorts). The shorts
kind of preclude half-chaps (which I use), so I was looking at fleece
stirrup leather covers. My question for those of you who use them - do
they feel bulky under your leg? I assume that after time, they pack
down and aren't so bulky, but in the interim? Is there another
alternative I should look into?
