Re: [RC] saddle question - Karen Sullivan

This sounds like the Anglo Arab I sold, that a friend how has....very short back, high withers.  Had her fit with Reactor Panel saddle; great design as you can go with different length "panels" and they leave entire top of withers and the spine clear down the back, open and clear; nothing to rub....

But definatly stay away from saddles that have skirts laced behind the cantle (I was very surprised to see a Sharon Saare saddle  that did this); clearly would rub on the spine on a prominent spine horse.

Sometimes that can be adressed with careful padding....but I think not the best design to start with (saddle with
solid or laced back)

Subject: [RC] saddle question

What does everyone ride in? I have a high withered, wide and short backed Arab. Seems like every saddle I've tried rubs on her back at the very rear of the saddle. Any suggestions.
