[RC] Kill clover? - Marta Kozlowska

it's not just about a bad case of slobers. clover is v. high in carbs,
not a good thing for your horsey to feed on, especially if it's an
easy keeper or an air fern type of breed. my mare's first brush w/
laminitis was last year when she was moved to a field overgrown w/
clover. i just put a muzzle on her on friday in hopes of preventing
both the slobers and more importantly, the metabolic issues. if it
were up to me i'd plow that field under but management doesn't see it
that way:(.
