[RC] Saddle Fitting - Val Nicoson

When getting a custom saddle made for a horse's back,
how many of you are considering how a horse's back
changes from standing to trotting? Do you get it made
for the standing horse...or do you allow extra
clearance (ie bridging) for a horse's back to round
and come up in to?
I'm interested in receiving feedback from folks who
have their saddles made in such a manner that the
saddle does not conform entirely to their backs while
standing but the horse moves nicely with no soreness.

Any other comments greatly appreciated regarding this
concept as well,
Val
