Re: [RC] Heart Monitors - Barbara McCrary

Bob Waltz produced the first progenitor of the EZ Ride stirrup. I still
have my first pair that I bought from him.....made of aluminum. I suspect
Garrett Ford bought the design-patent-whatever from Bob, as the first time I
met Bob was at the Fords' place in Tucson back in the early 1980s. Roger
Ford was starting his first endurance ride, had contacted me and other
established ride managers for ideas, invited me to come to his first ride,
the Old Pueblo. Amy loaned me a horse and I rode it.

First one on the block Bob Walz 1983, first to introduce on board
heart monitors to the sport of endurance and the rubber carbon
electrodes,Stirrups and such we now have heart monitors re fine tuned.
Equine Performance Products www.equineperformanceproducts.com, EZ rate
patented belt and electrode systems and handhelds our Original name no
copies here! " we carry other hi technology products"

basic questions answered in my book "Heart of the Matter"

 >for Bob Walz should have been " Hall of Famer" years ago for all his
donations, acheivements, inventions, back into the sport of endurance.
Ive gave up submitting to the aerc many times seems they mainly give out
the hall of fame to newer people and many board members have not been
around back in the good ole days. My wish to him was to get him the aerc
hall of Fame before he's gone.
I do not play the game of writing submission papers to the AERC
anymore! Bob Walz should have been a automatic Hall of FAMER. Bob is
about 84 today and still rides
