[RC] To tie or not in a 2-horse bumper pull trailer - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

Question re not tying the horse's head when trailering: I was told that it was
better to tie the horse as it helped them to regain their balance and
'stabilize' themselves better in an accident. Plus I have a stallion and it
keeps him in check after I stop so that I can attach his lead to take him out
w/o spending 5 - 10 minutes trying to play 'catch the moving halter' ( I am
only 4'11" and have a short reach, and he knows how to stay just outside of
it). Any input on this? Should I leave him untied instead??
