I have also pulled a steel 2H BP with a Dodge Dakota
4x4. The truck had a long bed and club cab and extra
towing stuff, like heavy duty brakes, radiator and
shocks. It worked fine. It did lug a bit going up
hills, but I ran that truck to 250,000 miles and never
had much problems towing!

She will need to use this truck for commuting to

work, as well as hauling
hay, camping in, etc., so the better the
miles/gallon ratio the better off
she'll be.
