Re: [RC] rain in LA area - Lynn Kinsky

Title: Re: [RC] rain in LA area
According to the radio news this am, the rain total now is over fifteen inches and the norm for this same time is 4.  Not much fun here.   The usual rain mess when an area get too much rain.  It is reminding me of the rain a day or two before the hurricanes come in on the gulf coast or the day or so afterward.  Back in 70-72 lived here and it only rained 4 times.  This is so weird.  Maybe I brought the rain from E TX.  In a month I will be leaving here, then the weather will probably be better???  Mary Ann

When you lived in LA before it was a drought period.  The National Weather Service keeps all kinds of cool records, like this one for LA rainfall:  http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/lox/climate/data/cqt_monthprecip_cy.txt

Rather than wait until the media reports the forecasts, just go to http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/lox/, click on your location, and get the forecast!
