[RC] Easyboot questions - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

I never use the foam, or vet wrap, or duct tape. I've never
done a 50, but have done many 30s with 4 easyboots and no problems.
Occasionally a boot will fly off, but sometimes
nailed-on shoes fall off, too. I've never lost a boot for good
because my riding partners are well trained to spot one if it
makes a bid for freedom.

I would use Easyboot on both fronts rather than just one. In a
pinch (like if you lost a shoe unexpectedly, and had to borrow a
boot to finish), you could probably just use one, but they are
fairly heavy and I think that using just one might cause a slight
imbalance.

Sorry if these are stupid questions, but I was wondering if A.
do you HAVE to use the easyfoam, or can you keep the boots on w/
vet wrap and duct tape if needed, like say for a 50? Also, B.
is it bad to have the fronts w/ one foot easybooted and one w/
just a shoe? Will that throw off the horse's gait for any
reason?  Thanks,
