I received this email today and wanted to share it with everyone.


Dear Florida Members,

Adopt a living Legend!

The BLM will be holding a Wild Horse and Burro Adoption in Marianna, Florida, May 21-22nd at the Jackson County Ag Center.

The recent law enacted by Senator Burns from Montana removes protection from many wild horses, so your participation is needed now more than ever. All that is needed is lots of patience, time, and dedication, and these horses will make wonderful companions.

FRIDAY: May 20th - Preview & Adoption Approvals will be held on May 20th 1:00-5:00pm

SATURDAY:  May 21st - Adoption: 8:00 am - 5:00pm
Bidder numbers - 8-10:00 am
Meeting - 10-10:30 am
Adoption - 10:30 am

SUNDAY: May 22nd - Adoption: 8:00 am -12:00 noon

Directions to the Jackson County Ag Center:

From I-10 in Florida, take exit 130. Turn North on Hwy 231 to Hwy 90. 
Turn East and go about 8 miles.
The Jackson County Ag Center is on the South side of Hwy 90.
