[RC] Weak Ankle (on me) - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

Dawn, I also have weak ankles due to several sprains over the course of a year
or so. Only my right ankle gives out and only when I ride in my endurance
saddle. I purchased an "air cast" which is basically a plastic support that
sits on both sides of your leg. It's lined with a gel pad and is secured with
velcro. It allows for up and down movement, but side to side is not as
easy...especially if you're wearing a high top riding shoe. I use it with my
Ariats. You can purchase one of these braces from any place that sells
hospital equipment. Mine ran about $50, but it's lasted me about 4 years now.
