I usually carry a polo wrap in my saddle pack on trail, but not for prettying the horse's leg.. I figure it might make a good bandage for either of us in an emergency.

Sometimes I wonder if some of this stuff we do is becuase it makes US feel better, not necessarily the horse feel better!
