Before you start working on the Legion of Excellence “+//”
you might want to note that a Top Ten in an annual National AHA ride and a Top
Five in a Regional AHA ride is required. If you get 2 Top Tens at
National AHA rides, a Regional Top Five isn’t required. These
requirements are different than getting points from regular AERC rides, which
is why I stop at the Legion of Supreme Honor “+/”. The AHA
regions are different than the AERC regions and not all AHA regions offer regional
championship rides. AHA National and Regional Championship rides also
have a cross entry fee in addition to the regular AERC entry fee.
