Re: [RC] registration - Nancy Sturm

I have to agree with Truman and others, unless you had hopes of showing him
in breed shows where you'd have to present registration papers.

Just get as much documentation as you can, so that ten years from now when
you can't remember how old he is, you can check and confirm his birthdate.

We have two geldings, and our daughter has one, with registration papers
that haven't been transferred through several owners. If they come to me
with current papers, I do transfer them to keep a nice paper trail going,
but with the others, I just keep a file folder on them with the
registration papers or photocopies of the papers.

Nancy Sturm, who surely does love a nice gelding

I could see the big deal for a mare, but for a gelding. If you can't
breed them, why do you need papers.
