Don't get me wrong-- I like mules :-) I've even been commissioned by HorseTV to 
do a screenplay about them and I'm amazed by the heart they have. I was serious 
when I said to contact AHA about a separate registry. I don't believe AHA will 
change their position on registering offspring knowingly as half Arabs (I 
certainly could be wrong and my guess is based on other policies they have and 
their current goals) so I really feel this could be your best bet. Gene LaCroix 
has started a registry for his Dutch Harness/Arab crosses and the Registry for 
the National Show Horse with their Saddle bred crosses has been really 
successful. Of course, Bo Derrick's Aerolusian Registry never found a nitch ... 
but mules seem to be far more practical so who knows :-)
