RE: [RC] [RC] Anyone use "regular" English stirrups instead of EZ-rides? - Nell Lindquist

I have a friend who broke her foot and was looking for a wide-based english
style stirrup to use
afterward. She went to Charlotte's Saddlery in Houston, TX and found a pair of
black "plastic"
english stirrups that have a very wide base - they resemble Aussie stirrups
with the three or four
bars on the bottom. She loves them, as she also has knee problems - finds they
have some give to
them as well. They cost her about $25 for the pair, but, unfortunately, she
cannot remember the
brand name. Charlotte's has a web-site, but other english tack shops may carry
a similar item.
