We just picked up a load of Kansas native bluestem, growing over limestone 
(as opposed to sandstone), and hauled it back to Missouri. Averaged out to 
$2.25/ per 70-75# bale. Even with the fuel cost I guess we have it good, 
about $3.05/bale not counting our time! If we had a bigger trailer we'd have 
it even better.
