Bigger rider needs a bigger horse.  

"Bigger" as in thicker *maybe*...not taller. I have some students who are
Nationals level weight lifters. They say that the taller guys have longer
"levers" which is a hindrance.  Another friend of mine who is a personal
trainer and terribly ripped used that excuse as to why I was better at
putting hay on the truck than she was.

Granted, some of the huge fat boys can pick up something heavy as if it's
nothing, since their body is used to carrying so much weight all the
time, but that doesn't mean they could go far with it.
