Re: [RC] Coolback Pads - Chris Paus

haha, when I first got into distance riding, I overhead someone calling "cool back pads"  as "cook back pads." I didnt' believe them and used one on my gelding. Yup, he got raised heat blisters on his back! It took 6 weeks for those to heal! Poor guy.
 
I can't use any kind of synthetics on him.. only wool or cotton, or I get dire results. I'm sure the coolbacks work for some horses, but sure didn't for this one. Each horse is different. We get along great with the woolback.
