Yesterday Valerie Kananvy, Jim and Deb DeShon went to visit Ted. He really
enjoyed their visit. Today Mike Caudill, Lisa Winburn and myself went to see him
and took him many well wishes cards and also read the ones that have been
e-mailed to the hospital. Ted has so many friends, thanks for thinking about him
in his time of need, he really appreciated hearing from each of you, could not
believe the people from a couple endurance/ride and tie clubs he did not even
know about, took the time to write.
He is doing much better, he has been sitting up in a chair. He still
is not walking or able to answer the phone but they have told him that he is so
far ahead of schedule compared to most with an injury such as his. For those of
you who know him, this is not surprising. He is still in the trauma unit in
Shands hospital but hopefully in the next couple of days should be moving to a
rehab facility. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
