==========================================

Please explain the exact technical differences between the software of the 301,
and the Polar software. Where is the Polar better or worse than the 301?

You can say one is "easier", but you show no data that will prove those
statements. Where is it easier? Why?

Do you and have you used the Polar product like April does with the 301, and
with frequency in various situations?

I have a 201, and love it. Garmin strives to make things easy for their end
users. I can't see where Polar is easier.

Not flaming you, just need the differences and evidence on the product. Maybe
you could do a comparision of some sort if you use it in your riding like April
does. Maybe you could compare the data she has out on the web, or something
like that. Some "tools" may sound good, but when put to use in real
situations, they aren't superior. jm life experience opinion.

The Polar is way pricy compared to the Garmin 301. The 201 is ready to go when
you open the box, slap it on your wrist, sync up with the sattelites, and hop
on your horse. Which I let mine sync up while I saddle the horse, or if I am
in a hurry I do it while I drive, so I can pop on the horse right away and get
going. I really enjoy the 201. It gives good info on speed, time, distance.
And endurance is all about distance!

I do not own stock in garmin, and I am not working for them either. I use the
201 product - all the time when I am on horseback. (and not on horseback too)
