Re: [RC] moving up from CT to LD - Jonni

From: "Truman Prevatt" >>>The comment was addressing the issue that the
AERC database is not all that accurate - especially it seems for LD's prior
to 1996. So don't put much stock on any conclusions you draw from the
"early days" by looking at the numbers on the database.<<<<

And I was just commenting that there are riders in the category Ericka
mentioned (25,000 + mile riders), that I KNOW have not done LD's. I will
admit Truman, as I had no idea how many miles you had, and when you replied
to her post, I thought maybe you were one of those extra high mileage riders
mentioned in that mileage group.

I sure hate to see another round of "LD bashing," it's too soon, it's
out of cycle, and it's all been said before - a hundred times.<<<<

OK, who in the &#$*% is bashing LD riders?????????????? I have NOT seen a
single person do so. They are just commenting that some start in LD's,
others in 50's, and Dave Rabe did a 100 as his very first ride. Some start
in endurance, some start in competitive. The discussion is just sharing the
different thoughts, and why folks do what they do.Why does it seem you are
the one who brings up the word "bashing" each time?????????

Geezzzzzzzz. Don't read more into it than there is in this discussion.

Jonni
