non-carrier--but in my experience, all else is frequently not equal..."

Heidi is one of the careful, knowlegeable breeders I was talking about. She is also working to preserve a unique set of genes. Most of us, if we are honest, would realize that our horses are not that unique and not all that essential to the breed.
