==========================================

Just wanted to let everyone that is interested know that we still
have openings for the Leatherwood March 27th ride. The stalls
are full however so you will have to camp with your horses in the
primative camping area. No big deal, most folks prefer this
anyway. The ride will be cut off at 100 entries. Phil and I
have had email trouble the last few weeks. If you need to get
in touch with me try lwequine@xxxxxxxxxx or abbie@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx or
rbluebirdpr@xxxxxxx
or call me at 336-973-5044. We are looking forward to a great
ride this year!

The CRI was originally a test for humans developed at UCLA in 1939. A
professor at UC Davis named Morey Fowler became interested in this and
wondered how it would work on horses and started testing it. Dr. Fowler
was at one time the head vet at Tevis. A young vet named Kerry Ridgeway
worked with him on this project helping to collect the data...........and
as they say, the rest is history...
